Christ evangelical church has been cooking apple butter for… many years! no one can recall exactly how many!
Some of our members are nearing (not yet AT!) the “grandparent” stage of their lives, and can recall (as teenagers!) cooking apple butter late into Friday evening - while listening to the Cape/Jackson football rival game on the radio! As we have all grown older, we have split the event into two different days - half of the process is completed on Friday, and half is completed on Saturday.
